This is the first time in years and years that I've worn anything this short without tights or leggings. I'm super self-conscious about my legs. This is partially due to the fact that I choose not to shave above my knee and that is (apparently) socially unacceptable, and because my legs are bigger than the models in magazines that one sees wearing shorter shorts. Spending as much time as I do in Oberlin, I've slowly learned to to judge my body as harshly as I've judged it in the past. Not only have I become a bit more comfortable showing my choice to not shave, I've also learned to accept my body the way it is. I still have a long way to go, but it's gotten easier due to the awesome people and atmosphere at Oberlin <3
