Hello!/What is this fashion blog all about?

 HI!!!

 Just wanted to say a big hello to this little blog to explain the purpose of it--

My name is HeatherJane, and I have a strong interest in fashion, though not in the way of following popular style. I make some of my own clothes, I don't mind mixing patterns, and I couldn't hide my own style or personality if I tried!

I also don't like the fact that so many fashions are so expensive. I see blogs and magazines where they excitedly claim an article of clothing is "ONLY $69.99!!!" and I think that is ridiculous. I've found so many amazing (and name brand) clothes while thrifting that are fractions of the cost. Also, I don't really get the whole deal about name brand either. I think one should wear what they feel good in. Whether that means they feel comfortable inside the fabric, or they feel like they look good on the outside, whatever feels awesome is awesome!

I'm not trying to give advice or publicize certain stores, I'm just putting it out there that you can have a good-looking outfit for under $20!

That being said, this blog can totally become what the viewer wants. I'm just kind of playing around with photos and self-modeling, but the info I give you can totally be up to you! Do you want to know the cost of everything I wear? Do you want to know what the deal is with these mysterious "free boxes" I talk about? Do you want more stories about the hand-me-downs or events I go to in these fabulous fashions? Just drop me a question or comment, and I'll see what I can do!
