Many of my guy friends will wear swim trunks as every day shorts on a regular basis. As a curious person and a gender queer kind of fashionista, I wanted to try this approach to daily fashion. I half understand why so many people do this. The material is awfully comfy, and I feel rather invincible; as if I could go for a swim at ANY MOMENT, but something about this style choice doesn't seem right to me. Perhaps it's because the trunks are a little big for me, so they fit a bit awkwardly, or perhaps it is because I've not broken them in enough (aka not enough time in Lake Erie), but they felt a bit stiff. Still, not a decision I regret, nor will I object to experimenting with this clothing choice again!
