I often get comments on my style and compliments on my clothes, and when I share that most of my outfits come from thrift stores or free boxes, people are astounded! I thought I might put my interests in fashion, photography, and modeling together and create this little daily fashion picture blog! Feel free to ask me any questions!!! *I am not promoting or being paid by any of the mentioned stores* *Most of the prices are approximations.*

June 29, 2012--Carolyn's Birthday Party.
Earrings: City Buddha ($3)
Dress: given away (free)
Shoes: garage sale ($2)
A few months ago I came downstairs into the basement of my school's dance/theatre wing in the middle of a dance class to get some water and found boxes of random, colorful, sparkly clothing. A few other people in my program were sifting through the items and told me that someone had dropped off these boxes of old ice skating costumes while saying the words, "This is free, take it." I felt like a child in the most fabulous candy shop in the world. The gaudy, glittery items were just up my ally. I was already with a pile of things in my arm when I looked up at the one clothing rack to see THE ABSOLUTE MOST PERFECT DRESS IN THE WORLD. Made of glitter, sequins, and rainbows, was this--the dress I'd been looking for for years. So of course I dropped everything to grab it before anyone else could steal my awesomeness. I was unsure for a while where I would wear it. And then I realized that it was the perfect dress to wear to my platonic fiancée's* birthday party. And it was a perfect evening.
*Edit: We are officially Platonic Beyoncées. We are Destiny's Children.
