Yes yes yes, I've had a skirt since I was 6...but it's not as crazy as it may sound. No, I'm not that tiny, (though I am pretty tiny for a person), this skirt was one I wore around my hips and continued to wear for many, many years afterwards, and I was a pretty chubby kid, so it stretched, and now I wear it around my waist!
And this is what I wore for film class today, as the person I was playing was older than I am/much older than I appear. (28ish). Obviously the skirt/tights combo isn't that mature, but all our scenes are done in a close-up, so all that really mattered was the blazer and the bold lipstick. (And my teacher said that everything, appearance and acting, was successfully older and more mature!)
